Shadows in the Rain

Description

Although autobiographical in nature, this is a work of fiction. Vince Jennings arrives in Klamath, California with no job and no place to live. He soon finds work, learns to be a fishing guide and finds himself part of an exclusive and mysterious group of Yurok council elders. Befriended by Eddie Young Man, they soon discover that they share the same problem ? trying to live their lives as part of two conflicting cultures. The torrential rains of 1964 besiege the Pacific Northwest causing a flood of mammoth proportions changing their lives forever and wiping Klamath from the face of the earth.
