This compilation pictorial and first-hand accounting of Crescent City’s destruction from the 1964 tsunami that devastated the city was published by Wallace H. Griffin and written by the citizens of the area. The waves generated by the 9.2 earthquake near Anchorage, Alaska, destroyed 29 city blocks and killed 11 people.
